TESTIMONIALS - 2026

  1. Mr. K. B. Kachru

Chairman - South Asia Radisson Hotel Group

I was really excited to be here. Its my 14th Conclave, and I have attended all of them. Every year, you see great progress in connectivity. This years subject of AI and creativity really gelled well with what is happening in the world today, and it was most appropriate. The morning deliberations were excellent. People have different viewpoints, but I personally feel change is the only constant thing, which you have to accept. We all need to accept that AI is a great tool, and it will help us deliver better. In terms of subjects, it is good to see what is relevant. From this, we should move on to look at personalization using AI. Collaboration with all the stakeholders would work much better when there are more interactions and debates. I think we should enlarge that a little more in the future years to come. I think people will want to move around. I have attended Hi AiM in Sri Lanka, Nepal, and a few places in India, but I think you have to focus on emerging markets. The Government of India is soon releasing a list of 50 destinations which should get infrastructure status, and it would be appropriate for all to go to one of these destinations to have Hi AiM.

  2. Mr. Dinky Puri

Founding Partner & CEO - Eagle Wing

Ive really enjoyed it. This is my first time attending, unfortunately I couldnt make it earlier over the years, but this time I decided I had to be here. What I like most is that it gives you a chance to meet ex-colleagues, people from the industry, vendors, suppliers, architects all the people we work with. Its great to interact with them, so I like it. I attend such conventions across the world, and this time I decided I should attend one in India as well, thats what brought me here. In terms of improvement, I would like to see a little more interaction with the audience. Guests should be able to ask specific questions to the specialists on the panel. The industry is evolving rapidly, the way business is done today is very different from before, especially with investors now coming from funds and REITs rather than traditional backgrounds. So, more interaction would help create a stronger learning experience. While it is currently a very India-centric seminar, I feel it should gradually expand internationally. With many Indian investors and hotel brands already active in the Middle East, it would be good to take the platform beyond India as well.

  3. Dr. Pawan Kachroo

    Managing Director - Khamas Hospitality

Wonderful experience. I think this is my first time. I would like to thank Mr. Koul, Mr. Sharma and the Hi-AiM team for inviting me and felicitating me this evening. A lot of people were talking about AI in the industry, how its going to affect us, and how it looks in the future. I think theres a lot of insight for the young ones and the others to see It provided a lot of insight, and we are looking forward to the next day. The whole team has done a great job. For next year, you need a bigger venue; Im sure its going to grow. A lot of senior people and youngsters should be invited to this forum because they will all benefit. We would like to see Hi-AiM in Dubai soon

  4. Mr. Salil Panigrahi

    Co-Founder & Managing Director - Atmosphere Core

Its proud to be here and it's lovely. I came down from the Maldives for Hi-AiM 2026. Mr. Romesh Koul is a friend, philosopher, and guide, and he is doing well with his Hi-Aim and is contributing a lot to the hospitality faculty. It's my first time attending, though my team used to attend. It is very well done.

  5. Ms. Karen Wang

Founder & Principal - Karen Wang Interior Consultant

It's splendid. To me, it's pretty fruitful because I get to know a lot of different trades persons, and to meet up with Anil and Romesh, so it's really cool to be here. I attended last year in Kathmandu, and this is my second time. Anil and Romesh created this platform for all different trades persons to gather together and share their project experience. It's really good for the trades, for our consultants, and for designers.

  6. Mr. Sunil Khemani

Founder & Principal Consultant - Aufait International Engineering Studio

Hi-AiM has always been a family to me, and I always look forward to this event every year. I'm highly grateful for the honour of being recognized with an award this year. It is the people and the organizers that keep me coming back; it's always good to interact with people from all walks of life. This year, AI took centre stage, but for next year, I would love to see the return of dedicated sessions on MEP discussions.

  7. Mr. Dhruva Rathore

Vice President Development - Hyatt Hotels & Resorts

I think it's a great platform for us to network and meet people from the industry. That's really what I look forward to. I missed it last year, but before that I have been to most of the Hi-AiM Conferences. It's always a great learning to be here and network with people. The event has been improving every year, and being at the Grand Hyatt is a great venue and a big step forward. I can't think of anything that needs improvement.

  8. Mr. Suresh Kumar

    Industry Expert

I've been associated with Hi AiM for years, and every time they excel. The past is quickly forgotten because they are trendsetters. They do a beautiful job and consistently pick up all the relevant topics that has been my experience with Hi AiM. What brings me back is the founders, the organization, and the topics, everything combined together. I believe every system evolves, and this being the 14th edition, that evolution is clearly visible. It reflects the intelligence of the people running it. Hi AiM provides a strong platform and remains very topical, which is its biggest strength. I would simply say all the best.

  9. Mr. Aniruddh Kumar

    Vice President - Development Accor

Amazing, excellent and very informative. I have been attending from the beginning, so I have attended all the Hi-AiM so far. New themes, new concept, new locations and the family atmosphere keep me coming back. It is all good. Keep continuing the same thing. For next year, I would like Hi-AiM to be held at some new location.

  10. Mr. Pushpendra Bansal

Chief Operating Officer - Lords Hotels & Resorts

My overall experience at the 14th edition of Hi-AiM 2026 was great, and it was more knowledgeable than before. Actually, I am not a technology guy, but I learnt about AI, and it was really a great pleasure to be there. I would suggest that we should get the people who want us, like franchising and other owners, who are not coming. Yes, we are gaining knowledge, but knowledge is not enough; ROI is also important. So, I would look for ROI

  11. Mr. Shobhit Khattri

Mr. Shobhit Khattri - Minor Hotels

It's been very interesting. I think the theme 'AI & Creativity' is very relevant and a big buzzword right now. At the same time, it has a significant impact on the industry, and it will be interesting to see how it evolves going forward. I attended the first Hi AiM, and although I missed a few editions when I wasn't based in India, I've been attending almost every year. I feel the platform has improved significantly over time, with much better participation, more people actively involved, and stronger overall attendance. I also feel that having it in Delhi makes it easier to attend. While it has often been hosted in outside destinations, doing it in a metro city like this makes a difference.

  12. Mr. Upaul Majumdar

Head of Practice Tourism - Dolma Consulting UK

I think Hi-AiM 2026 was very different. It was all on artificial intelligence as people have done much work except using it more like an advanced Google tool. Every year it gets better and better. It's a fantastic knowledge forum. You hear about a lot of cutting-edge things which are happening in the field of design, architecture, interiors, facility planning, where the brands are going, and what else is happening. I was very happy to meet a lot of individual owners who are taking it to the next level. I think keep the momentum going. That makes a lot of difference.

  13. Mr. Douglas Grieco

Regional Vice President - Design Service - Hyatt Hotels & Resorts

It's been a really great experience. A lot of different interesting vendors. The panel discussion has been great. It was a really good opportunity to hear how a lot of other people in the industry are viewing the different issues we're facing, especially with AI. So that's definitely been an interesting aspect of the day. This is my first time. I'm actually from New York and Miami, so I've been living in India for a year and a half now. Really, really loving the experience at Hi AiM. I don't know if I would change anything. Great panellists, great participants, great energy, and a great vibe, which I like. It's almost like a boutique conference, which I think is really nice because a lot of times they get to be too overwhelming and have too much going on.

  14. Mr. Mandar Zaware

Vice President; Design & Project Management - Marriott International

I think Hi AiM has always been more like a family event, where experts from the hospitality industry get together. It's just an incredible event, and I have been attending it every year. It's amazing to meet intellectuals from this industry. Hi AiM does an amazing job. I can't really think of anything that needs improvement. Maybe Hi-AiM should look at more locations within the country. I know it might be challenging and difficult for people to get there, but the North East of India is one stunning area where I would really like Hi AiM to host all of us.

  15. Mr. Yatin Gulati

Director - Assotech Realty Private Limited

My experience was brilliant. Credit goes to Mr. Koul, Sharma Ji and Ishaan for planning such a wonderful event. It was very insightful and great for networking with hospitality professionals and industry veterans. I got to hear a lot through the panel discussions about what's happening in hospitality. The theme was rightly chosen and very relevant in today's time. It really highlights where we are headed as an industry, and where brands and owners need to focus, especially in terms of technology adoption. Overall, it was a lovely experience. This was actually my first Hi AiM. I missed the last one, and now I regret it after attending this, I feel I should have been there earlier. It was very well organized and it's hard to pinpoint anything. But if I had to suggest something, I think the exhibition part could be more immersive. Brands could showcase their products in a more engaging way right now it feels a little old school, so some innovation there would really help.

  16. Mr. Khozema Chitalwala

    Principal Architect - Designers Group

I think it has been great so far. The subject of AI has been the need of the hour, as there is too much confusion within the industry. Everybody is thinking AI is going to take over, and some are thinking that AI will do everything, and architects and designers are all going to be useless. I am really glad this subject has been taken up. There is some clarity which has been brought to the table, and it's getting better. I see a better result after this within the industry. I have been attending Hi-AiM since the beginning. I think it's a good sharing platform for architects and hoteliers. The challenges we face, especially in design execution and while designing, and how the trends are changing, Hi-AiM brings a lot to the table.

  17. Mr. Bobby Mukherji

Principal Architect - Bobby Mukherrji Architects

It's always been a good experience. Last year was good, and the previous years have also been good. The only difference last year was that it was held in Nepal, which I personally prefer. When it's outside India, you're more of a captive audience, there are fewer distractions, and the interactions become more intense. That said, having it here is definitely more convenient for us. It's always nice to be around technically minded people, sharing useful information, learning new things, and meeting new vendors. Overall, it's been quite useful. I've been attending Hi AiM since the very first edition, it's been around 14 years now. Anil ji and I go a long way, so we'll always be there. Over time, I've seen the conference grow significantly. It's become much bigger, with a larger audience and more delegates attending. You also see more important people from the industry now compared to the early editions. That really helps in better networking and knowledge sharing. In terms of improvement, I feel the topics should be more varied. For example, this time the theme is Creativity & AI, earlier it was sustainability, but I think there should be a broader mix of topics. Maybe half the sessions can follow a central theme, and the rest can cover other relevant subjects. That would make the discussions more engaging and improve learning.

  18. Ms. Vandana Saxena

Founder and Design Principal - Studio IV Designs

I think it's amazing. The topic is of great relevance artificial intelligence and there have been some great conversations around it. We're all warming up to the fact that AI is an integral part of us, and I'm happy to hear a lot of views and thoughts around that. Hi-AiM is growing by leaps and bounds every year. The family is becoming bigger; earlier, it was a smaller fraternity, but now a lot of people look forward to coming here to discuss topics of relevance and meet each other. It's a great experience meeting colleagues.

  19. Ms. Priyanka Sahay

Corporate Director Technical Services - The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL)

This is my second year attending Hi AiM. I attended in 2024, and now again this year so it's my second time. It's amazing a very good platform for us to meet various people from the industry. It feels like an informal gathering where we can discuss new ideas and developments. I think the theme for this year is very good and very apt, so it's been great so far.

  20. Ms. Ritu Bhatia Kler

Managing Director - Total Integrated Design (India) Private Limited

As always, very stimulating for the mind. I think it's a great mix of people from the industry, be it operations, design consultants, or the project team. The topic has been very thought-provoking, a bit controversial with AI. I think we are just at the tip of the iceberg, so there was a lot of exchange of ideas and a lot to take back home. I have been attending for quite a while, I remember being in Sri Lanka as well, and it's good to be back in NCR. The event is well attended, and there are a lot more products and different vendors to see now. Also, I like the fact that the topics are up to date and very current. I definitely see that it's moving with the times. I think the founders are very well in tune with what should be spoken about. It's not just about improvement; I think it's about just going with the flow, and it's doing well. Regarding a theme, it keeps coming back as a topic that it still takes a lot of time to construct a hotel. We are talking about AI and technology, but it still takes time to construct. We need to talk about that with a solution. Let's really brainstorm to get a solution to design and build faster.

  21. Ms. Shruti Mehra

Director, Projects and Design - South Asia Hilton Hotels

I think Hi AiM has become a great platform to meet like-minded colleagues and industry professionals. It provides a great forum to interact, share notes, and collaborate. I've been attending Hi AiM since its inception, I was there at the first edition and now at the 14th as well, so it's been quite a journey. Over the years, I feel the platform has evolved really well. It is very organized and brings together the right mix of consultants, brands, operators, and product partners. That balance makes the discussions more meaningful. In terms of improvement, I think Hi AiM is already doing a great job, but having a wider spread of consultants and a broader range of topics could make the conversations even more interesting. As for the location next year, I'm happy to be there wherever Hi AiM is held. Looking forward to another great edition next year.

  22. Mr. Anuj Sharma

Director Design Services - Sarovar Hotels & Resorts

This is my first time at Hi AiM, both as a panellist and as a participant. I must say, it's quite a gathering. You have stalwarts from across the industry here, so it gives you a great opportunity to meet people and interact with different mindsets. It's a very beautiful platform, anyone from the hospitality industry should be here and experience it. In terms of improvement, there's hardly anything to suggest, to be honest. Perhaps some of the discussions or topics could be made a bit more intriguing. That said, AI is the next big thing, and I was fortunate to be a part of this conversation. Overall, it's been absolutely good. As for next year, I would say take us places. It would be great to cover different cities across India, experience local cultures, cuisines, and connect with diverse people. So yes, anywhere in India would be wonderful

  23. Mr. Vibhas Prasad

    Director - Leisure Hotels Limited

It has become a truly meaningful platform for all stakeholders in the design and development areas of the hospitality industry to come together every year. It was a pleasure to attend, and I must commend the entire Hi AiM team for curating such a deeply insightful and well-structured forum. Wishing you continued success, and we look forward to staying engaged with Hi AiM's future initiatives.
